Frequently Asked Questions

When did you get into the business of crafting?  I was blessed with two very creative parents who, in their own different ways, both greatly contributed to the love I have for making things with my own hands.  Growing up, they encouraged me to visualize my goals and to think outside of the box in order to achieve them.  As a child, I was always interested in transforming the things I already had into better things.  I learned very early on the value of a dollar, and also that you just can't put a price on a fabulous idea.

Several years and mountains of homemade gifts later, I began to look at my work as more than just a hobby.  I find it exhilarating to create something that brings joy to someone else's life without breaking their pocketbook in the process.

I see you list your items for sale on Etsy.com.  What's that all about?  Etsy is like eBay, but for all things handmade. It consists of a beautiful community of extraordinary people who each offer their own unique gift to the world of art. I choose to sell on Etsy because they offer unmatched exposure, reasonable rates, and the opportunity to meet and learn from the most talented people in the world.

But do I have to sign up?  Can't I just buy from you directly?  Yes and yes. Although I think anyone (buyer or seller) would benefit from joining the Etsy community, I am happy to provide the same quality service without the hassle if you'd prefer. In fact, in some situations, it's actually better to contact me directly.  Which leads me to my next question...

Do you make custom orders?  I am thrilled to accommodate your needs in any way I possibly can. See something you like, but need it made it a little differently? No problem! Just send me an email and let me know what direction you'd like to go in, and we'll take it from there. As a general rule of thumb, I usually only list items on Etsy that I already have made in stock (unless otherwise stated).  For this reason, I'm able to guarantee shipment within 3 business days of payment for all Etsy orders. On this website, however, I sometimes list examples of my work and offer "made-to-order" pieces that will better-suit your individual needs. In these situations, the length of the project depends completely on what you want and what it takes for me to be able to make that happen for you. Therefore, I offer shipment quotes on a per-order basis for all custom orders.
