Japan. Nothing i could really say would prepare you for Japan, as everything is done differently from how the western world look at things. Colourful, bright and very quirky, Japan has to really be experienced, rather than described. Toyko is a cutting edge technology city with many people, that can be very pricey. On the flip side of the coin, the traditional Japanese villages celebrate Japans past, and can be very rewarding to anyone going for swords, Samurai and honour. If you can try seeing both of the sides that Japan has to offer, as it will show the vastness of the culture. The Asian languages are considered one of the most difficult to pick up, but getting the basics down will definetly help you out once in Japan.

Italy. The home of pasta, romance and the mafia. A good place to take that special someone for that cliched gondola ride. A brilliant idea for anyone into the romantic side of Italy. Just try to time your visit right, as its very busy in the tourist season, and very dead outside of it. Dont want to visit Venice? The city of Milan has that same Italian architecture but is a city for the more fashion aware of us.

India. While the rest of the world's economy struggles, India's has seemed to pick up, so what better chance to visit? India's 'Bollywood' rivals Hollywood itself, but with much more cultural song and dance involved. The money that is now coming into India is seeing the cricket teams bring in some famed cricket players for the latest tournament.
